Snow storm today

by this afternoon, the Catskills had 12" of snow. Suppose to get another 1/2 foot tonight. Stuff is pretty fluffy. snowshoes for sure!

16-18" of snow on the NE side of the Catskills. Very cold too. Suppose to get -15 tonight, and warm up to 15-20 tomorrow. Snow-rain-ice on Sunday & Monday.
Yup, the stuff is quite fluffy.

We don't get fluffy white stuff very often. And, when we do, there always seems to be rain a couple days later. If want to brave the cold, you can have a nice snowshoe tomorrow.
The state highways were pretty nasty this morning. Lots of hard packed snow on the road surface. Not sure why they didn't put any sand down.

The state highways were awful. Hard packed snow with NO sand or salt. Thruway was completely clear when I cam thru. Crazy weather.

It might be 8 degrees this morning, but it will be raining by tonight. It will rain tomorrow morning too. But, by the evening the temperature will fall to 2 below. More crazy weather!
