Law Enforcement: On July 8 at 4:15 p.m., North South Lake Campground staff requested Forest Ranger assistance after a complaint about a small bear eating food from a cooler. Ranger Gullen hazed the bear, forcing it back into the woods. Ranger Gullen wrote tickets to the occupants for leaving food and trash out and having an unattended fire. At 8:10 p.m., there was another call for a bear sighting. Ranger Gullen responded, but the bear was no longer present.
