Hurricane Matthew

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, things looked ominous for a direct hit. But, today it looks like it might miss us. Keep checking back to ensure, you don't make a mistake if you want to come to the Catskills this weekend.

I hope it misses, I saw firsthand the devastation from Irene while helping with the clean up efforts.

If you plan on hiking this coming weekend, you might want to rethink your plans. Hiking on Saturday might be okay. But, Sunday doesn't look good or safe. We'll keep you updated. It should be noted that this hurricane will produce wind and lots of rain.
