ATV near Palenville Overlook.

I went to Palenville Overlook over the w/e and found what looks like an old, abandoned ATV at the jct. of the horse trail from Mt. House and horse trail back to Harding Rd. does anyone know how long it's been there and are there any plans to remove it? I would think that this winter would have been a good one to put it on a lsed and haul it out.

I hiked those trails in late September and don't recall seeing an ATV there. Must have been left sometime after that. ( Unless I somehow missed it. )

In the winter months, I think they can ride there. But, now that winter is over, they will need to remove it. there should be a license play or something.

Snowmobiles can ride in the winter, but not ATV's.

If the ATV is still there someone should contact the DEC or one of the Rangers.
