Eagles, Foxes, and Fishers, Oh My

Unread post by Joe McHugh »

Spotted 2 bald eagles while driving on 296 yesterday (between 23A and C). Unfortunately only had my iPhone. Hope they stick around for some better shots. My trap caught a fox multiple times. Not as skittish (sorry, wily?) as the coyote, which runs away as soon as the flash pops. And 2 fishers, one huge one (almost the size of a small bear). These are screen shots from video, so the quality is poor.

Nice! Fishers are hard to photograph. Trail cams make it quite a bit easier. Fishers are actually very light in weight. They are usually around 4-12 lbs. They have a LOT of hair. And, full of energy!
