I am going to take tomorrow off. Might do Hawkeye from Palenville (Assuming it is not closed). Otherwise, I will have to do it from Devil's Kitchen.
Right now it looks like it is going to rain on Friday. Sat & Sunday are still open.

I think that you cannot go past the gate from Palenville. You can bushwack from where the NYS land meets the road. Sort of annoying, if you ask me. The local owners hunt there, so be careful.
Maybe you should try Tremper Mtn.
