EMS has been sold to Versa Capital Mgmt

Eastern Mountain Sports ("EMS") has been sold to Versa Capital Management. Versa is a venture capital firm based out of Philadelphia, PA. Versa already owns a retail chained called, "Bob's Stores". The amount paid for EMS was not disclosed, but the sale was immediate. Versa now owns all 69 stores within 12 states. Versa will not change anything with EMS until January 1st of 2013. Versa does intent to merge certain aspects of the two chains together. Mark Walsh, CEO of Bob's Stores will be running EMS.
