On Columbus Day, we meet at the Devil's Kitchen for a hike with the Albany YMCA. In all we had 14 people. Real nice group of people. We were the first to arrive. I walked down to the Arch Bridge. I took this picture:

The rest of the people showed up just before 9 am. We got started and walked up the old Steenburg Road. We then walked down the Huckleberry Trail. We then crossed the Hell's Hole Creek. The water was low, so it was pretty easy crossing. We then worked our way up the little mountain. As we approached the point, we stopped at this small Pitch Pine Forest:

We then headed to Huckleberry Point. Once we were there we had lunch and enjoyed the view. The leaves were at peak, and this year we had a lot of brown leaves. Here is a picture from huckleberry point:

At the end of the hike, we took a smaller group down to Plattekill Falls. As usually, the falls were great.
