Hi, is there anywhere i can get good topographical maps of the catskills?

The best are the NY/NJ Trail Conference map set.

As already posted, NY/NJ TC maps are the only game in town. Nat Geo / ADK may come out with maps of the Catskills soon. There is also a report of "super" topo's being designed and made. I think you can get topo's at EMS in Albany. You can also order them online. You can also download topos from usgs.gov for free, but they are hard to find.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I did buy the nj/ny trail confrence ones, I have a GPS but I'm new to it and I'm used to useing a map and compass which can't be beat. Thanks again. Erik

For anyone who's intrested in maps there are sights you can get custom maps made idonno how good they are.
