Stoppel Pt.

Unread post by Levi »

Hiked to Stoppel Pt today (xmas eve). Started at north/south lake gate house
then took Mary's Glen Tr to the Enscarpment Tr. Several ice scrambles down low
but I only had my 'ice creepers' , could use crampons. Fresh powder beyond
North Pt approx 4" deep. I have enclosed a few photos for your viewing pleasure.

Looks like a very nice hike. I have never hiked this route during the Winter. Very nice pictures. It is a very nice walk in between North Mtn and Stoppel Point. I really like the conifer forest there.

I like picture #2. Looks like the opening just before the plane crash. Looks like a nice hike. Thanks for sharing.
