Blackhead

Hi - I am considering heading up to do my Blackhead winter hike this weekend. Any reason to think it would be a good idea to carry my snowboard up and try to get some turns on the way down? Seen some videos of this at slide, but not sure its practical at any of the other hikes; or even what the snow conditions might be like now. Any advice would be very appreciated.
