In 2023 the Beall Family (founded Ruby Tuesday Restaurants) and Kemmon Wilson Hospitality Partners (Holiday Inn) made an undisclosed investment into Windham Mountain to become the new owners of the ski resort. They plan on investing another 70 million dollars into the resort. They have also changed the name from "Windham Mountain" to "Windham Mountain Club". One area of the 70 million dollar investment will allow skiers to have slopes that are less crowded. The mountain will also move to make the ski resort more upscale. The mountain will also move some skiers to become members. Although, the public will still be allowed to ski there. Some are questioning if Windham Mountain will move to members only in the future.
