Last Sunday, we drove down to North-South lake to wonder around. We generally walked around the lake. We then hiked down the Cross-crountry ski trail to Kaaterskill Falls. We then walked back on the old railroad that goes past the water treatment plant for the campgrounds. About 4-5 miles of wondering.
the weather was very cool, and it started to snow for a period of time. It didn't stick to the ground, but was an unusual event for mid May.
They are also fixing the old Cross-Country Ski Trail. They have put in new culverts and smoothed out the road. Real nice to walk on now.
The wooden bridge over lake creek is falling apart. The rail has fallen off, and there holes in the deck.
