On Sunday we showed up at North/South Lake. We snowshoed up the old carriage road. Then we headed over the old Kaaterskill Hotel site. Went down the the pond. then hiked down to the escarpment trail. the clouds were rolling in, so we headed back towards the car. When we were on the x-country trail we looked for the bobcat nesting site, but didn't see one. We did see a number of bobcat tracks. Also saw some deer tracks. Got back to the car, and we did about 4 miles. Talked with some other cross-country skiers. The parking lot was full. The snowmobilers had their grill out and were having a good time. About 25 snowmobiles.
