Accident at Hunter Mtn

Unread post by dave »

A man named Bob, fell 50 feet off one of the ski chair towers at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl Wed, May 12, 2010. This accident was not part of the new zip line. He was taken to Albany Medical Center, and is listed in Critical Condition. He sustained significant head injuries, and was put into a medically induced coma. Hunter Mtn has procedures that their workers are suppose to wear OSHA safety harnesses, but this worker was not wearing one.

I heard that the guy is around 40 years old. Sad to hear of this accident. Hope he gets well soon. Probably working on the pulleys. they have to be greased each year. Did they say how he fell?
