Good Afternoon All!

Unread post by GeneralGrizzly »

Hi all,

My name is Ryan and I am new to the forum. I currently live on Long Island but have been visiting the Catskills for the past 25 years. I have only recently entered the world of hiking and back packing as a way to escape city living. As of this past summer, I have taken an interest in hiking all of 35 peaks in the Catskills over 3500Ft.
I have already completed Hunter, Windham High Peak and Westkill. I have my eye on Marcy and Washington in the near future as well! I am looking forward to getting to know many of you and perhaps even seeing you out on the trails!

Hope all are having a great day! I'm eager to get out there.

Regards,
Grizz

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've read through some past posts and see that you all try to do some group hikes from time to time. I hope to meet you all soon!

Welcome. Lots of good hiking to be done here. Nice that you have a house to base camp with.
