Bearpen Mtn from Heisinger Road

On Saturday we decided to head over to Bearpen. Alexis decided to join me on this adventure. The temperature was just above freezing and it was sunny and clear.

Here is Alexis walking up the final 100 feet.

We encountered 5 grouse on our little hike. I got a good view of two of them.

There were only two other people on the mountain. No snowmobilers. The two people we encountered were BC skiers.

On the bottom we had no snow. But after about 100 feet the snow started. When we got on top, we have 3-4' of snow.

As always, we had a good time.
