Panther - March 3rd

We arrived at the parking lot with only one other car parked. We put our snowshoes on and headed up the trail. The snow was packed and easy to hike on. Some people only had microspikes. But, everyone wished they had snowshoes.

When we got up to Giant Ledge, the view was obstructed by clouds. You could see some of the mountains, but disappointing. We then headed on to Panther. As we approached the summit, the rime and snow had covered the trees. It was beautiful. Again, the summit of Panther had obstructed views. But, the rime made up for the views.
