Upper Ashley Falls

Unread post by tennant »

I've only seen a handful of photos from Upper Ashley falls. Due to the heavy rains the area received, Ashley falls had too much water (for me, anyway) to spend much time photographing, but the upper falls were running nicely. Spent well over an hour shooting - working to avoid falling into a rut by taking a (standard) heads on waterfall shot. Enjoy!

These waterfalls are very difficult to photograph. I am sure you know this. I really like the exposure of this shot. The whiteness of the water really stands out against the dark background. The best I have seen so far.

That is a cool looking picture. The action of the water is so vibrant with the stillness of the woods. Very nice!
