On August 15, 2010 Ben Nephew ran the Devil's Path in 5 hour 35 minutes and 32 seconds. ADK88 run the Devil's Path on May 26, 2010 in 7 hours 25 minutes. This broke the record in 2007 of 8 hours and 25 minutes. The Devil's Path is 24.2 miles long over some of the steepest and most dangerous hiking paths in America. The path was built in 1929. If you hike it, you will swear that it was made by the devil.

Recently, Timber Rattlesnakes were discovered just south of Plateau Mountain. Just adds more difficult to the hike.

Ben Nephew is a team member of INOV-8, and is a world class trail runner. You can read more about him here: http://team.inov-8.us/

This guy went by our group around 2pm near the summit of Westskill and man
was he moving. Just two water bottles black shorts and no shirt,
just like the photo. Heading west toward the summit I assume he was near the
end of his run. As he past us I yelled "Is your name Cave Dog?"
He laughed and said no......Levi
