Last weekend was a rough one for hiking. Too many family obligations to make any solid plans. The weather was perfect. But, Saturday afternoon I got the change to sneak out for some quick hiking. I couldn't go far, so I decided on a small hike that would be close and easy. In the end, it wasn't very short. The hike turned out to be great.

I then walked around Colgate lake to finish off the day. In all, I hiked about 10 miles.
