Blackhead
I have been hiking around Blackhead after work a couple times this week. The snow is melting, but there is still a lot of snow pack there. The trail markers are starting to pop out of the snow. The one bridge is in poor shape and may collapse. The trail up to the col in between Blackhead and Black Dome is rough. It is hard to follow the path to the top. A new path has emerged. The spring is still under the snow. We tried to find it, but we didn't succeed. The trees on the top of blackhead have lost a lot of bark due to the high winds of last weekend. The col is a mess. Hard to follow the trail. Lots of branches down. Some markers are now exposed. The signs have popped out of the snow. The trail is pretty rough.
