We were going to head to Algonquin but the weather never really panned out. We did climb a 46er, 4300 foot Mt. Marshall. Other than that it was fun in the mud around Lake Colden. Here's not really much of a report, just some pics
In the Adirondacks, the mud itself has a personality of its own
Flowed Lands
Campsite at 2790 ft.
Algonquin towers over Lake Colden
Trail to Mt. Marshall
The hike up Mt. Marshall is basically up a stream
Summit of Mt. Marshall 4,380 ft.
View from the summit of Mt. Marshall
Bearcans are required in the High Peaks wilderness
Hammock camping!

Clouds were too low and it was raining on our way out. We canceled our planned hike up Algonquin on day 2
