Heat Wave Continues

New postby dave » Thu Jul 21, 2011 11:50 am

Temperatures in the mid-90's will continue thru Saturday. On Sunday they are expecting the temperature to fall to the low 80's. If you do go hiking, make sure you have LOTS of water. Be safe!

If you go hiking you will need to hook up an IV of water. Holly god...it is hot out. It was 104 at home today. I had planned on hiking Lone/Rocky with friends, but I am going to pass on that one.

Yes, some of that water is VERY cold. But, kids can no longer park near Fawn's Leap to go swimming. Sort of sad. But, they can park in the other two PA and walk down. Looks like the heat will start to break on Sunday, and next week will be fairly nice (low 80's).
