Hikers get parking tickets in Windham / Rt 23a
Over the past month hikers who park outside of the designated DEC parking area on Rt 23 in Windham are being ticketed. If you are parking on the side of the public road, you WILL be ticketed. This is the Elm Ridge Wild Forest for the beginning of the Escarpment Trail. It is also for the mountain biking the Fun Loops or Elm Ridge.
