Blue Hole Enforcement

New postby dave » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:47 am

Town of Denning in Ulster County

Enforcement:
Over the weekend, Forest Rangers working the Peekamoose Corridor, which includes the popular Blue Hole destination, estimated nearly 1,200 people visited the area. Several tickets were issued to individuals violating various state land use regulations.

It should also be noted that the New York Times recently ran an article that the Blue Hole has been over visited, and trashed. And, this may result in it being closed down. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/20/nyregion/blue-hole-swimming-catskills.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0
