Injury on State Land: At approximately 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, DEC rangers were notified that a 21-year old man from the Bronx had injured and possibly dislocated his shoulder while visiting the Blue Hole in the Peekamoose Valley. Two rangers evaluated the man at the entrance to the Blue Hole and confirmed that it was a dislocated shoulder. They were able to adjust the shoulder and bandage it. The man refused additional medical treatment. The incident concluded at 1:35 p.m.
