Brush Fire on North-South Lake Trail

The Haines Falls Fire Department and the DEC were called to a small brush fire on the North-South lake Trail on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. It has been very dry all summer, and now the forest floor has become very dry, which is creating new brush fires. We do expect to receive rain this weekend, so this should help reduce the risk of brush fires.
