Due to over 110 forest fires and brush fires that have burned 3,600 acres in New York State in the past couple of weeks, New York State has extended the Burn Ban until Thursday, May 21, 2015. This also includes camp fires.
As the leaves come out, and we get another rain on Saturday, the moisture on the forest floor will come back. This will help reduced the risk of a fire.
Right now they are calling for a light rain on Saturday. We hope this will reduce the risk of a forest fire.

Re: Fires Ban until May 21, 2015
I think the ban ends at midnight tonight. Thankfully, we have had some rain in the past week, and the leaves are out to trap in the moisture.
