West Kill Mtn Hike

Unread post by mike »

Hiked West Kill Mtn on Saturday. It was warm on the bottom (80), and absolutely no wind. Long difficult huff to the top. As I got towards the top the temperature cooled off to 70 and the wind picked up. Ran into a real nice guy, and we talked hiking different regions of the world. Never knew about the view from the ledges near the summit. What a great view! I certainly want to return.

Oh yeah, I did run into the guys from Friday, as they walked back to their car. Small world. They had a great time, and said that the sunset was great.
