hi wasn't sure if i should start a new topic but its been awhile so i thought it be good. I parked on RT214 closet lot to main st (rt23a i think) The trail was in great shape, too bad i wasn't. started 7:30 am made it to the tower by 10am . Heavy fog poor picturing taking, worst part when i got to the fire tower i didn't realize how tall it is and how i don't love heights. coming back down the sun came out and got some ok pics , Just thought i would post an updated trip

Oh...sorry about the fog. That really sucks. Really nice views from the summit. You can always climb up the tower as far as you feel comfortable with.

Sometimes there is fog in the morning that can linger on for a while. A Catskill thing.
