Giant Ledge - May 9

Unread post by alexis »

Mike took me up to Giant Ledge on Mother's day. Not that many people, with the exception of a group of 25 boys from New Jersey. Two Rabbi's were "managing" the boys. They had a rough day. It was windy and cold. The temperature was in the 30's with 25 mph winds. We dressed like it was Winter. Most people stayed home, so it was not crowded as usual. A few patches of snow here-and-there.

On the way up, we let the Jewish boys pass us. The Rabbi's were ready to jump off the ledges by the time we got to the top. The views from the ledges were great. Mike and I visited all five of the major ledges.

On the way out we ran into two local guys. We had a great conversation with them. Lots of laughs.

Overall, we had a real nice day.
