Hi we have 4 - 6 inches in EASTERN PA. How is slide?

Check out facebook page Catskills Trail Conditions. People's hikes are posted and is very current. Gives you an idea of current conditions,foot gear used,snow depths etc. Side note my wife was originally from Scranton. Regards Ed

Most summits have around 1' of snow. Most people have moved to snowshoes. You should also bring microspikes for bare spots where the snow has been blown off.

thanks guys! I don't have facebook so this is my best source of info. i'll bring snowshoes& tractions. Birthday hike on the 21st probably gonna be crowded at the summit. Winter here we come!
